
The Code of Conduct Tribunal has finally announced the date to commence the trial of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki over allegation of false asset declaration.
The Code of Conduct Tribunal has fixed March 10 for commencement of Trial of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on 13 counts of false assets declaration. The CCT has confirmed serving hearing notices to the parties to the case on Friday.
This was confirmed by the Head, Press and Public Relations of the CCT, Mr. Ibraheem Al-hassan.
“We have issued and served the hearing notice today,” Alhassan said.
It would be recalled that following the Supreme Court judgment clearing the CCT to commence trial of Saraki, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs representing the Federal Government had written the CCT demanding to know the date for commencement of Saraki's trial.
