Keeping body hydrated in summer is not very easy. The dry wind, hot weather and the heat-all this makes body dehydrated very quickly. So, it’s necessary to keep skin hydrated by dri8nking plenty of water. You can also add green tea to your drinking regime as it not only keeps your body hydrated but can also help fight viruses and bacteria.

Green tea allows you some flavor with plenty of benefits. Green tea is good for health but did you know that it’s also helpful in getting glowing skin? No, I’m not kidding. green tea is actually beneficial for your skin, body and hairs. You can consume it orally by drinking or you can use recipe like mask, toner etc on your skin. Since green tea is hard to consume because of the sour taste and smell, many people (including me) skip using green tea. But today I will be showing you some home-made recipe’s you can use green tea to beautify your skin.

Treat Acne
Take one green tea bag in a bowl and pour hot water into it and brew it. Once the water cools down, take out the green tea bags and keep them aside. Apply the brewed tea on your skin and keep it for 15 minutes. After, rinse off with plain water and follow with moisturizer. Doing this daily will prevent acne and other break outs.

Green Tea Face Scrub
Take two green tea bags and let it brew in some hot water. Once the water cools down, add 3 tbsp of sugar in the green tea water. And tadaa, your green tea scrub is ready. Apply it all over your face and scrub gently in circular motion. Green tea has anti-ageing properties which will benefit your skin. This scrub will exfoliate your skin perfectly and will give you smooth dirt-free skin.

Reduce Pore Size
Open or large pores are a very common problem for oily-skin-type. Large pore size is often considered as anti-ageing sign. If you have oily skin and suffering from this issue then y6ou can use green tea to get rid of it. Add 2 bags of green tea in 1 cup of boiling water. Once the green tea is completely brewed, take out the bag and wait until the water comes back to room temperature. Now, add 2 drops of tea tree oil and lavender oil each. Now you can fill your ice-tray with this mixture and once your green-tea-ice-cubes are ready, apply them in circular motion on your face. This green tea infused ice tea will reduce your pore size and the tea tree oil will control oil secretion and will prevent pimples. You can also store the mixture in a spray bottle instead of ice-tray, the choice is yours.

Glowing skin
Open used green tea bag and take out the leaves in a bowl. Now add 2 tbsp of gram flour, 1 tbsp of milk powder (or raw milk), and pinch of turmeric in the bowl. Now using rose water, mix all the ingredients and maintain the consistency. Apply this mixture for 15 minutes and then rinse off with Luke-warm water. This face mask reduces pigmentation and dark spots when used regularly. It reduces pimples and lightens complexion.
